That was largely, as I recall it, because you posted it the day it had happenedbut had failed to make it funny. In other words, you posted it purely for shock value, and then pretended to be upset when you succeeded in shocking people. If it had been amusing, the comments would have been along the lines of "ticket to hull" etc., not "cock off, twunt".
As long as something is genuinely funny, it doesn't matter how sick it is. Posts about the mentally handicapped can be funny, and are often on here despite being in poor taste. Racist posts can also be funny - but the vast majority aren't, so they sometimes get censored. What doesn't go down well is going for simple shock value. It's akin to posting goatse all the sodding time.
