# I disagree
I've seen stuff linked on here that is so mild it almost reduces the site to a teletubby concept.

Really! I've seen stuff that has been linked here and then seen far far more risque stuff on billboards coming back from work

# oh shush
listen it's simple:

we try and keep the board safe for work but the site is run for fun.

there's a number of volunteers who mod stuff - but sometimes they're not available.

if you want consistency go and speak to your council or something.

# yeah Rob I know it's run for fun
but what is the market you are looking for ?

if you get too "PC" you will always end up pandering to the lowest common denominator

hat means through fear you will have a site for 5 year olds within a few years

# Judging from the rest of the internet
allowing as much nudity and sex as possible would be pandering to the lowest common denomenator.

# You're not getting it.
Things aren't linkied to protect the boarder's delicate sensibilities - for as we know, most of us have no such things.

It's to protect the boarders from getting sacked as their boss or shitty coworker wanders up and sees porn on their work screen. This is an instant dismissal offence at many, maybe even most, workplaces.

If the porneriffic pics weren't linkied you'd get almost no-one coming on the board during working hours, and that would be a serious drain on the talent present at any given time.

# sad thing is
that most businesses need to stop such things in the workplace or be open to "hostile work environment" type problems.

'course all they need to do is have a policy and a quiet word every now and then... but most folks take it all too far.
