# The shape of the alien did change through out
the 4 movies did it not?

# Slightly
but that made sense as at one point it was a runner Alien ( Gestated from a dog) while the other times it was either a Drone, Queen or Warrior alien. Oh, and PredAlien.

# I'm sure the aliens in alien 4 were a bit different as well
But I am a slight aliens geek
I really should not have read all the comics

# I never read the comics
I could never find them here, and DarkHorse discontinued the comic books.

# I discovered when I moved to big city
that they have these shops where it is possible to buy bound copies of the comics
And not just aliens
I spent way too much money buying the sandman and I still don't have all of it

# I don't live in a big city
and the only place I've been that had them was missing the first 3

# Demand that they get them all!
But try to get the ones before Hicks and Newt became Billy and Wilkes
Damn Alien 3

# Yep
was good up until Resurrection.

That moved the alien towards "Shite" territory.

# If you look at that one as an action film it's still pretty good
compared to most of the crap on the big screen, it only pales when compared to how glorious the previous films had been.

# You're probably right
I just thought that the whole alien kid type thing was shit.

# If memory serves
The orginal from Alien had more detail, but was harder to walk around in, so the simpler design in Aliens was made so it looked cooler in motion. Also you could cover it up by saying that the brood had taken on different genetic material and looked different as a result.
