
Unfortunately that half wasn't enough, and now they don't get a say in policies for the next four years. Bush doesn't exactly have a great record of listening to his people so far, so I can't imagine he's about to start doing so now... Not that the UK government is much better, but that's just because Blair seems absolutely blind to the chance that things presented to him by Bush might not be real.

that technically he wasn't voted in the first time around, so maybe he'll run again next time!
But yes, thank goodness for that aspect of your political structure. If Bush can get back in then that means that there's a chance that Blair might get back in again too, and we have no limits on re-election.
