My point was purely that it seems that over half of the voters in the US believed more of the things said by Bush than were said by Kerry, despite overwhelming evidence that Bush has been frequently lying to the populous.
'Intelligent' was perhaps the wrong choice of word, my apologies for that, but I do sincerely belief that over half of America currently believes adamantly in lies that have been told to them, and that a little research would at least bring a little healthy doubt into their world-view.

I also know that the Pentagon has a propaganda division. Which isn't a conspricacy theory or a secret - it does. The only other Western nation in history to do the same is... Nazi Germany.
