is an mp3 player (one of those solid-state teeny-tiny things) a good xmas present for a dad who likes music/hates carrying cd players?
its only £30, 128MB, FM Radio and LCD, or £10 more for double the memory.
he's also getting more interested in computers recently.
any thoughts?

i bought my dad a remote controlled car for his 50th and he loved it. from this we can assume that all dads are the same, love gadgets, and your dad will love the mp3 player.

It's a useful and fun present, and you can have bonding moments as you show him all its bells and whistles.
But I'd go the extra £10.
