David was absent from the Board yesterday and will be late again this morning because he had to attend hospital in London for a minor operation on an inflamed pun gland.
The Doctors say the operation was a success but David must refrain from any weak puns and elongated bouts of pun tennis for 2 weeks, until the stitches have healed. Over exerting his tender pun gland at this critical stage could see him have a relapse and force amputation.
Please kindly see that David is looked after until he recovers.
