[challenge entry] my brother the spirit attractor
when I got my first digital camera back in 2000 I took it to the pub to show friends, on the way out I tested the flash in the dark...
only gamma & contrast have been increased, the flash shows up the raindrops and the roadsign behind

nobody was smoking, there wasn't any fog and the lens was too tiny for mist to produce something like that (one of those 3mm fixed focus ones), other pictures that night didn't have any foggyness like this one

I've achieved the same effects indoors with some spotlights and a dirty lens, as well as numerous "ghost" photographs of my own breath (or exhaled smoke, or fog).

Nothing supernatural about it.

but other than that one none have any mist in them that wasn't there when I took the picture

The orbs look like water droplets and the ecto mist is most likely breath or cigarette smoke. Although the red orb is interesting. Were there any lights in the background or just out of shot?

is from a pedestrian crossing I reckon. The big green light is the little green man. You can see the control box on the pole underneath.

The sad thing is that any photo with rain in it (even if it was raining ages before) will be debunked straight away. Anything genuine cant be picked up on then :(
