Yes sometimesstuff get's taken out of context, but if you leave yourself open to it you will be punished for it. My advice would be to not let yourself get so riled up and remember it's just a messageboard full of people you've never met before nor likely to meet most of them. So bite your lip, have a nice cup of tea and roll with the punches. They will soon get bored if you don't react and will go on to find someone else more annoying to annoy.
You seem to be a sensible person, you've taken a lot of stick and still you're here - like I said before learn to roll with the punches a little and dish out the odd leg-pull yourself and all will be a sweet as a basket full of 3d rendered kittens ;)
