a.) java isn't a shit language, it's a language you dislike, there's a difference
almost all programming languages have their uses, if you want to consider yourself a decent programmer* you're going to have to face up to the fact that an arguement like 'A is shit B is sooooooooooo much better' is ridiculous without context... when c# has been ported to as many systems as java then a like for like comparison may be justified, as it is you should probably shut up

plus you can talk to C/C++ code using the JNI APIs if you want to try to be whizz-bang
but you`ll more than likely break the portability of Java - "write once run anywhere" - which makes C# rubbish if you need to run on Solaris/Linux/BSD/HPUX...
edit: although you could plug the gap using CORBA :)
