'save optimised as' to save the optimised version. with this pic you probably want to reduce the number of colours - that'll make the file a lot smaller

there's a lot you can do in imageready, have a play when you've got a bit more time. the dither settings are quite good

But you should make it a link or optimise more (more lossy, less colours) - 250kb is the recommended board maximum
