# yeah good. watched batman and war of the worlds on monday in the cinema
batman fucking rocks big time and first half of war of the worlds is good, but then it becomes too 'americanised'.... the ending should have been better...

but BATMAN... WOW what a film.

except the machine they use would kill all the humans as we contain water within ourselves but meh... loved it

and you?

# Batman was
hilarious and completely camp and just great.

# I wasn't so sure it was camp myself ...
You are talking about the new one and not the Tim Burton one (that was completely camp).
I thought that the Scarecrow scenes were remarkably well done given that they wanted to make it plausible in the real world.

# fair point,
fair point, that's a fair point, you've got there, a fair point, and I suppose I just like everything to be camp.

# Yeah, that was the only really dumb plot device ...
But most of the rest of it rocked muchly.
Love the Batmobile too.

# I liked
'now if you'll excuse me, I have a city to destroy' ... do you want to hear my Batman Begins as political metaphor theory?
