# cute!

one day I'll try to get a good pic of the crescent moon scar right between my eyes

# I think I can vaguely see it.
I have scars on my left cheek where a dog bit me when I was 3.
I also have odd scars on my right hand that make a smily face.
And a scar on my right knee where I fell of my Saturn bouncer, and the scar is Saturn shaped!

# I think scars are a testament to an interesting life :-)
I have a scar on my right cheek where a dog bit me when I was 2. I have scars on my hands from cats claws and PCs, and two cats claw scratches on my chest which intersect to make a cross. This has raised questions with at least one girlfriend. I have a scar on my right knee which I got when playing under the top of my friends boat (which was lying on the lawn after having been washed or painted IIRC.) There is a huge, deep, long scar on my right upper arm, caused by a girl's finger nail. This has never raised any questions with any girlfriends. Oh, and then there's the ones on my forehead from my first serious cycling accident. And the scar tissue in my nipples from when they were pierced.

oops

# I have scars that run from my waist to my big toe.
After 25 ish operations, the last thing you feel like doing is showing them off. I look like a frikkin road map.

# Different people react in different ways.
I know a guy who has one of those generic Burn-Victim faces, but it's actually a fetish for him. I know others who deliberately scar one another.

I don't think you should ever feel self concious about your scars. But I'm lucky - I used to think I was hideously ugly, and then one day I woke up and forgot to give a fuck.
