apparentlythe planets people there, had bought a washing machine, massive thing it was, miles high... but the buttons got stuck, and when the repairman came round, he'd forgotten the address, so ploughed into the planet in the vain hope that it'd fix the thing...
It did, coincidentally, but also wiped out the population of the planet, save one Bob BobBob, who is currently being pursued for callout charges incurred by the reparation.
