I've seen quite a few'specially when I worked at the Beeb and spoke nicely to the ticket lady but I agree, they can be very tedious.

Most of the tv shows I've seen filmed have been chat type showsLike Room 101 or The Late Edition (which we're off to see again next week).
Which don't seem so bad as there aren't many retakes, they just sit and talk and edit it down later.

Yeah, I've seen the late edition recently tooand it wasn't so bad - although they did edit out an entire guest!
