I find the lack of faith of the Lib Dems
disturbing. Not that I'm a Lib-Dem supporter but surely if the man had the courage to stand up and admit he has a drink problem then the least the Lib-Dems could do was to buy him a round.

I was nodding to that before the final, hull-bound part. Personally I think he deserves a break, alcoholism is a risk in that kind of job but it isn't an end to any kind of constructive existence. He's admitted a problem, and is working on it, fair play etc.
