# You know
I was wondering if that was connor's hoody.

I do like that style!

# Thanks
I was pretty much just randomly choosing brushes to see how they worked. I've had the software for a couple of weeks but I've been waiting for my new 'puter before installing it. It seems much smoother than the previous version, I haven't really had a chance to look at it properly yet though. I'd forgotten what a huge hassle setting up a new computer is, I've been at it for 2 days now.

# 2 days?
sheesh... I can have one set up in 3 hours from component form.. but then I do be a tech head so maybe that would explain it...
still, even with a re-format of my own, I usually have everything up and running in a few hours.
although I must admit to using a fully slipstreamed xp dvd with all my software already on it :-)

# The thing is
I need to port over all of the projects I'm currently working on, all of the software and settings, and all of the plugins for the software. It's scary how much stuff I rely on and how scattered on the HD it all is. Also, it's a Windows machine, so there's literally hours of work to do just getting it to do what you want it to do as opposed to what it thinks you ought to want it to do. If I was able to use the 'puter right out of the box it would be set up in 15 mins.

# yup, same here only audio stuff...
thats why I slipstreamed all the programs onto a dvd, windows is up and running in less than 30 minutes with everything there except the data files (and they are on a seperate drive anyway) so I just bring them in as I need them. if you want info on that I can give you the url of a site that i used.

edit:

tis here if anybody wants it..
