you fish it out of the Thames, chop it up into little bits and weigh each individual piece (you might wish to involve some friends at the is point because, depending on size of whale, it can be quite time consuming). you then simply add togther the individual weights of the pieces of whale and hey presto you have the total weight of aquatic mammal.
