As someone from Africa let me tell you that however cute and majestic Heffalumps seem on telly, they are basically just very large rats.
Or extra fat squirrels, but less fluffy. Wait till one of them blunders through your back yard and eats everything in sight, does a volcanic poo in the driveway and knocks over the fence on the way out, then see how sad you feel about it getting lost.
Don't get me wrong, I like elephants. Especially when they live wild and free in other people's neighbourhoods.

The camera just kept zooming out and out and there was just miles and miles of crap desert and this poor little heffalump walking into it looking for his mummy - it was painful.
I would have cried, but instead I ate some cookies and they cheered me right up.
