# Howdy!
all lovely... School play for the twins today - fecking teachers though: Noah's Ark 'in the round' - they've placed the twins on opposite sides of the ark so Mrs ZW has to choose which one to sit and watch!!! Pah!

# You have twins?
Can I ask just one question: Do you dress them up in matching outfits?
(, Thu 22 Jun 2006, 10:09, archived)
# not intentionally (except for school uniform!)
Sometimes, though, they decide to wear the same clothes (they were 5 last weekend). We have doubles of clothes cos we buy most clothes for the boys in the sales and you don't get so much choice!

We DO dress them the same if we go to a theme park/ball pit etc - it's easier to spot them if they are both wearing the same bright top! (Also, if we lose one, we can hold the other one up and say "we're looking for another one of these!")

Yeah, i don't like it when you see twins with the same hair, same clothes etc etc, and they're just bundled into "the twins".. it makes each one lose their own sense of individuality. I don't know what the psychology of it is (for the kids) because maybe they're happier that way because they have a natural bond with their twin, but I think it just must make later life harder.

I used to think that twins were born at the same time. Now that I realise that it's just one after another, it seems more logical. I always thought "that must really hurt"- especially for quadruplets or whatever.

Really you should get each one a T-shirt with A and B written on them or 1 and 2. That'd make life easier. And only refer to them as twin 1 or twin 2.

# sit at the end and watch neither
that is the only fair way...

or set up some sort of mirror system...

or a live video stream from the other side of the ark...

or - I'll stop now
*goes*

# Their answer was for me to go as well...
and to video it.

Right - "I want mummy to watch me..."

"Why aren't I on the video of that play?" (we only have 1 video camera, not surprisingly).

I've managed to get the afternoon off - me and Mrs ZW are going to sit on opposite sides and get up and swap seats every now and then, much to the delight of the official DVD recording company no doubt (with its single camera, only filming one bloody side!)

pah!

# step 1: record the opposite side
step 2: sell the other side to the DVD company
step 3: Profit
