what good is degree in medicine to an analytical observer?
(granted it may be of some use in spotting if someones mental condition is due to external stimulus, but that should also have been spotted by the doctor who refered the patient to the Psychiatrist)

psychiatry beleives its all medical
or can be solved by medical means - analysts are psychiatrists who receive around four years extra psychodynamic training. not all psychiatrists are analysts

More importantly
you can be a psychologist without any medical training. My sister is on track to becoming a child psychologist. She will do teacher training and not anything medically related.

Can anyone actually answer my original question?
