# MArch of the Fire Ants
is my walking to work tune (or one of them)- gets me in the mood for no fucking about. That, Pantera's '5 minutes alone', Sepultura's 'Chaos AD' and Morbid angel's 'Lord of all Fevers and Plagues'.

# All MA is good MA
In my humble opinion. I may stick on some Arkhon Infaustus later- you should try to download some to have a sneaky wee listen if you haven't heard them alread- I believe you'll like it. Saw them supporting the bumfeelers that are Deicide. Deicide were alright (Glen Benton fucking rabbited for 5 minutes between each track though) but Arkhon Infaustus were excellent.

# I'm sure I will check that out
Deicide are okay, as long as they keep playing the old material. I think Nile and Mastodon are the best metal bands today.

# Nile I'm not such a huge fan of, to be honest
Saw them a few years back at some fest in the Camden Palace, and they weren't that good. Best band of the day was Amon Amarth, strange to say- they were really good live.

# Hmm
I saw Nile a couple of months back, and they were really good. Better than the last time I'd seen them. I think I've attended about 100-150 metal concerts, so I do have some reference material here.

Also: meh!

# oh no!
That's poo. Hmmm.

I just wasn't a huge fan. But then I do have a not-so-secret love of the Backstreet Boys, so don't trust my judgement on anything.

# I like most of them
But Placebo make me want to murdalise stuffs.

I wish I'd brought some Down with me now.

# Ooh Down are good
but live in the Netherlands they are usually too stoned to play, like Life of Agony in the olden days

# I saw them a few years back
Keith Caputo had a hissy fit. They were supported by the absolute pish that is Breed 77 and Fony.
