lower dither - 50% usually looks as good as 100%, but with a saving of 10kb possible on even a small 50kb pic
less detailed pic - if you're using PS/IR, use the lossy options in the optimisation settings to strip out a little unnecessary detail.
less stuff changing - the echoes of 'you smell' is cool-looking, but adds a couple of ks...
