# Right...
A side - Funky Moped. Which was crap

B side - Mgic Roundabout

Song got to number FOUR I seem to remember. Carrott was God's gift to stand-up.

# Oh poo
Right, I admit I was wrong:
The Jeff Lynne produced "Funky Moped" hit the number 5 spot in the
charts in August 1975 and led to Carrotts appearance on "Top Of The Pops", which is probably
best forgotten! But actually the public were buying the record for it's 'B' side
"Magic Roundabout", the sordid tale of some risque un-filmed TV scripts from the popular
children's series "Boing - Said Zebedee!"

From www.jaspercarrott.co.uk - it also has soundfiles for those who've not heard either song!

# I can hear you,
said Florence, it's not true. Noddy and I are just good friends!"
"Rubbish," said Dougal, "it's all over the canteen. Everyone knows about you you brazen hussy!"
"You Lousy old fleabag!" said Florence. "Call yourself a dog? I've seen better hairs on a lavatory brush!"

did I really just type that?

I wasn't gonna mention it...
but I did almost re-listen just so I could type a quote, WY you!

# :)
I loved the earlier stuff he did like Pain In The Arm and Rabbits On And On; the Jersey sketch had me rolling in the aisles, or rather it would've done if I'd been listening to it in a church. Or a supermarket.

I wrote out the whole thing... and I still have it!
