TJ : I've done some pretty text in tattyshop, but when I try to save for web, I get a white halo around the drop shadow. Am I missing something?

other than turning off anti-aliasing and making it all of the chunky around the edges.

Try changing "Matte" to none.
Or you could try a 24-bit PNG if the file-size isn't too big, but IE6 users won't see it properly.
