# I thought it was a illegal unless you lived there now, I'm not sure how they'd stop you
'are you british?'
'yes'
'please put that out'
'no'
'ok bye'

# they didn't stop us last October.
and it'd fuck their revenue if they did....

# I don't really care considering I think smoking is a ridiculously dirty and horrible habit, in whatever form it takes

# I was just offering some info.

# I was taken aback slightly, I must admit.
And I never smoke around non smokers unless they're fine with me doing so (and I do ask). So you need not worry and inhaling my 2nd hand smoke.

# any non-smokers in the house?

# any smokers in the house?
sorry I can't hear you, you're going to have to shout to get past the phlegm

# I only smoke about 4 cigarettes a day.
I do smoke weed at home instead of cigarettes, but I was raised in a very hippy household where I was raised with the kind of ethos of 'You can do pot and mushrooms, as long as it doesn't get in the way of you having a job and looking after yourself and being a decent human being'

*shrugs* It's the way I am, and the way my dad is. Less so my mum but then weed makes her conk out.

# meh, I think I over reacted, but I myself am not a smoker of any sort
but I bet there is someone who finds my habit of drinking alcohol stupid and idiotic
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:41, archived)
# My dad's an alcoholic, so I have little time for people who drink to excess.
As I've seen first hand the damage it does, but I try not to let myself get preachy. People know the risks, it's up to them.

;-) We've all got our vices.

# in my belief
it has always been illegal anyway

I think it's just the city council that doesn't want you smoking in certain public places anymore

# I's been de-criminalised.
You can have 3.5 grammes on you (I think), but no more, and you can only buy it from registered traders like coffee shops.

I think that's all true anyway, it's what's in my head.

It's a shame they don't, their park is absolutely beautiful.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:32, archived)
# All this is true
but now there are some squares where you can't smoke anymore, period. It's because the people who lived there were complaining about the litter and the smoke and stuff.

I haven't smoked weed for years now, mind.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:41, archived)
# Oh that's good
It must be shit for all the people that hate it, I'm glad they've done that.
