Well, (assuming we can take the married bit as read),I've got a child who is nearly the age that you were when I was your age.
I'd not like the idea that someone who is your age now is ever going to be sniffing around her.
Mostly though, I would have my testicles removed by my wife.
[EDIT; upon further consideration, I'd be unlikely, even at my most desperate, to travel more than 1/2 mile for a hag, let alone to steel country.
