W***ing
and playing management chess.
New manager told me on Monday I can't work from home any more, I'm contracted to be in the office from 9:00-5:30 every day.
The creatives for an £8,000 ad campaign arrived at a quarter to seven on Monday night. I had to work on them and send them to the US that same night.
'Fuck this', I thought and went home. He had to spend all of yesterday evening begging the US team to run the campaign at short notice, and then sent round an email telling me that this must NEVER happen again.
I sent back an email pointing out that if work has to be done outside my contracted hours that there should be some kind of overtime pay involved.
Pawn takes knight.
