# the hatred of rap?
no. i hate rap.

her being the best rapper.
yes. she's more pop than rap. the only non 'emo' thing in my playlist...
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:10, archived)
# No no no no no no, how can you say that?
I just hope that one day it is all revealed to be ironic rapping and she is actually human.

edit: I hate rap too, I was referring to her being good...
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:11, archived)
# i think she's human.
i read and interview with her in Blender Magazine and she's really funny. She got to spend a bunch of Blender's money and she got two grillz and a little robot and she was all, "cmon little robot, do somefing! it fell over! is that somefing!?!?' and i cracked up. :)

# i like the pic

she annoys the piss out of me
plus i like rap a bit

i was merelystating my position :)

# oh okay.
i'm just used to *some people* on the board throwing their musical opinions in my face and telling me mine is wrong, and i'm tired of it, you know, so I just say to each their own now. :)
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:27, archived)
# This is it. I mean, there's no accounting for personal taste, right?
If you like it, then stuff what anyone else thinks. You listen to music for your personal enjoyment, not to please other people and their judgments.
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:30, archived)
# very true.
finally someone backs me up on this. is it just me or does anyone (mainly males) over, like, 13 feel the need to push their taste? i think it's just the people i know... :)
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:37, archived)
# it just seems quite fashionable to 'emo bash' I think
I got slagged off on here for saying I like still like Oasis hahah. I don't give a shit though - I like what I like.

# don't know
michael franti, used to like outkast (during my EXTREMLY short lived rap phase), dunno disposable heroes, although that's an awesome name. :)
i like Fall Out Boy. And Panic! At The Disco. And My Chemical Romance...
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:38, archived)
# Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy
was Franti's second band with the percussionist Rono Tse, after the Beatnigs.

Worth a listen..

they toured here on the weirdest triple bill I've ever seen, with Iggy Pop and JIMMY BARNES.

# this is going to sound really sexist, but
I really do not like any female rappers. Somehow rapping in a female voice just sounds wrong to me.
(, Wed 6 Dec 2006, 22:27, archived)

I've seen some hilarious bits on TV with severely deluded posh English girls who want to be rappers!
