# Chinaman
is seen as a derogatory term.

Except in cricket, where it as a type of delivery from a spin bowler.

# is it?
what about Irishman?
Welshman?
Scotsman?

edit: I just looked it up - I really had no idea, as I do not use the term in a derogatory way!

# Yes it is.
I don't make the rules up.

Chineseman isn't derogatory. That would equate with Englishman, Scotsman Welshman, Irishman.

A Chinaman is a left-arm slow delivery as bowled by E.E. Achong - a West Indian bowler of chinese descent.
