I just ran Ad-aware for the first time in a couple of weeks and it removed 244 suspect spy-ware components..

so if you aint done it yet go to www.lavasoft.com and give it a go.

That actually is the true meaning of life by the way. I spent a period of time 'looking into it' and those three words were the result of a decade of travelling round the world and ingesting vast quantities of unusual substances, vast quantities of reading, lots of great experiences etc.
So that should save some work. Right it down somewhere and if anyone asks you you'll know the answer:-)
