And haven't touched anything but a bit of weed since?
Sorry to sound a bit like my hackles are up, but you don't know much about me at all, and even less about that part of my life. I've seen people get terribly messed up on drugs- in fact my own father is pretty much like Ozzy Osbourne now, and I lost a friend in 2002 to a heroin overdose. I didn't walk into it with my eyes shut. But I was overridingly curious, so I recorded my experiences on paper, and also filmed some as well.
I'm now older, and less curious. But I'm not about to apologise for making my own choices.
Gah, another edit- I sound really like I'm getting stompy, but I'm not. I understand that a lot of people have seen others have awful experiences, lose lives, this that and the other. And as much as I feel for the people this happens to, I also think about all the other things that can mess you up - like the motorbike vs car accident that left my friend paraplegic. It doesn't mean I won't drive, although I'll be bloody careful about it.

people are entitled to their opinion

I got in my car this morning and didn't get out again for an hour. Sometimes I get in and stay in it all day. And you can never leave it alone. BEWARE.

i'm not here to tell you what to do, and i never will, i'm just saying that i've seen people do things with drugs that have left me quite shocked/scared, to say the least. but can we be fluffy again now? as i didn't want to upset you in any way.
