thing is, surely access would be better off being for all,otherwise it becomes very 'two tier' on b3ta with those that can afford nice shiny cameras to take a few pics of trees/flowers/anything out the window, just to get access to the big shiny good source pics?

OK what about for alla quantifier that it can't be use directly by large media companies, unless it has been shopped and full rights have been given to the individual?

It's not a bad idea in principle, just be a huge amount of effort to run it reasonably smoothlyafter all, it's not like getty is used HUGELY on the board, mainly for small anims etc.
