a group of policeman trying to subdue one woman have to punch her 'as hard as was physically possible' several times a bit wrong?

If she really went for it then they probably would have to resort to force to try subdue her.
and its not like he punched her in the face. I'd say it was justified

But the copper said he punched her several times then punched her in the arm to try to numb it.
If a bunch of supposedly trained blokes can't hold down one woman then they're not doing a very good job.
