# i think
you might have to let that go

# to succeed in this compo
you have to ignore the rules of the compo
(, Fri 30 Mar 2007, 15:13, archived)
# pretty much
although i have thought of an idea
and i do have crayons
it all depends on how hummussy i feel when i get home

# I think it is the confusion between challenge and compo that is the problem
the idiots that enter with absolutely anything they can find are under the misconception that there is something to be won.

If they realised it was "an Image Challenge" then they might not even bother with it at all.

# I think it should be scrapped anyway. Or moved to a seperate board at least.

# I don't know actually
I think a lot of people get into b3ta by submitting challenge entries.
Myself, for one!

# not when people post pictures of animals testing I won't

# it looks faked to me
and there has been a lot worse

i know animal testing is one of your 'buttons' but the image isn't really that bad

# I know it's shopped
but it is shit hummus which provoked my tired and repetetive comment about the challenge

# For fucks sake get off your high horse
before I chop it up and feed it to the French

#
you're allowed to post a picture of a rabbit getting injected in the eye so why aren't I allowed to comment on it?

if you don't want responses don't post anything

# Responses are fine
Negative or positive. It's the constant 'Lord of The Board' which begins to grate.

# I'm not pretending to be
if that's how you read my posts that's your problem.

At no point have I said anything that is a demand from on high, like "the compo should be moved to another board" or "the compo should only have one entry per person" but other people DO say that. All I'm doing is muttering to myself about something utterly petty but baffling to my mind.
Seriously, if you don't like the way I comment on stuff, put me on ignore. I'm not going to change my values or belief system because you're reading my posts wrong.
