# my uncle was hit by an escaped con who jumped a red light
and then fleed the scene of the crime

his knee had to be fused and he can no longer
do the job he used to

this all happened 2 years ago now
and he still hasn't had a penny from insurance

it took 6 months for the police to reveal who the suspect was
and with no-one available to take the blame
my uncle has had no one to claim against.

oh, the con was in for violent robbery
and escaped when placed in a low security wing
a whole year before this accident even happened

While your uncle was in hospital, you should have used your spider powers to hunt down the guy that hit him.
Corner him inside a warehouse and then chuck him through a window.
This whole ordeal would have given you a new outlook on life as well as a newfound responsibility to use your powers for the pursuit of justice and not personal gain.
