could they have made it any sadder? Kid looks out through window at his dad packing up his stuff in the car, never to be seen again, picture of happier times on the table nearby, rag doll hanging sadly, mother trying to touch him up.

Jesus, I'm glad I'm from an almost normal family, and aren't a bear or owt.

# agreed. the originals are morbid beyond belief
...and i'm not sure why making the bad things happen to dinosaurs or bears makes them any less traumatic, either.

best thing about it - it's inscribed 'to sally, love aunt fran', so it looks like everyone in the family knows that mom is a pisstank.
