Technical help please.
I tried installing mozilla, but then uninstalled it, but now, my Temp internet files don't automatically delete when the folder fills up anymore. anyone know how to handle this?

Mozilla doesn't touch
Temporary Internet Files - it has its own (more secure! Could you have guessed?) cacheing system.

does it really need to be secure
who is actually going to break into your browser cache?

my general attitude to computer security is that it doesn't matter
since no one's going to be interested enough to want to look.

Really.
*edit* Actually, your browser cache info is quite valuable to marketers and is often exposed by spyware components installed with dodgy p2p clients...

mozilla will keep it's cache somewhere else
it's probably somewhere in IE's internet options, there's probably a tickbox saying "empty temporary internet files when..." or something.

i oculdn't find it, but i'll have to look some more i guess.
I don't know that it was Mozilla, but I had no problems with my temp internet files till i installed it, and now it doesn't work.

Doesn't work for me. I have no "prefs" tab under edit.

Just ran IE to check (ugh)
In tools -> options is a delete Temp Files bit in the first tab... Been there since IE4 IIRC...
...why did you uninstall moz?
