grrruni IPs are blocked from editing wikipaedia due to 'consistent vandalism' that's a fucking disgrace, and it's lazy on their part to block all unis rather than just the ones that seek to improve wikipaedia by defacing it.
anyways. the fair usage bit under the picture is wrong as Douglas appeared in the hitch-hiker's guide series, so their claim of 'did not appear until after h2g2 became famous' is slightly wrong. but i cna't update it

I wasn't aware of him being in the original radio seriesso if he wasn't, then it's true that he didn't appear in it until after it was famous.

I think what they mean isHe didn't appear on TV until after the radio series took off (talk show appearances etc.). Then they made the TV version, in which he also starred.
