I heard (in the pub) that Ireland came last and that was no surprise, but where did UK come? I know the rest were bound to be crap...but Serbia? Jesus! Crack was on the cards last night.

Yup, Serbia was fucking shite. Another b3tan described the singer as looking like a lesbian emo schoolkid. I voted for Finland again.

they had a very pretty lad singing a rip off of "son of my father" by chickory tip
Ireland were utter shite, a complete embarrasment. I mean it wasn't even proper fiddlydee music, when they upped the tempo it was still plodding, the backing musicians should have had a few pints in them before they started playing and the dana lookalike they had singing couldn't even fake playing a bodhran properly, she's obvoiusly not given many hand jobs. UK were awful, as expected. but serbia? FFS.....

We would have been last if it weren't for Malta. Nice Irish gave us points too.

xenophobia actually produces result based on the quality of the music (with the exception of this years irish entry obviously, that was just a sympathy vote)

and sing a song about drinking and fighting.
as for the uk? well probably the best thing they could do is get a proper punk act to do a song that names every european country and calls them all cunts in a unique and individual fashion. a surprisingly few people learned from last years winner, Lordi made it clear that europe wants to ROCK!
