the pressure would still be different and hed probably stay stuck in the porthole because of the water but he could walked out of the room yeah, then again, the water couldve gotten to be too much and he wouldnt have been able to close it

^ agreedand the lock was probably on the inside. with the pressure of the water pushing the door towards Des it was pretty smart of him.
