if you're SSHd onto a unix box you own, use wget and bounce it into a directory you can surf to. just add a nice innocent name using dyndns or something and away you go ;)

Try HTTP tunneling over the SSH connection to a *nix box outside the firewall. It's a lot less hassle.
Or even running an X11 browser on the *nix box and tunneling the whole X11 session over SSH, though there's quite a speed hit, it works.
