Yeah, steady as she goes.
Quiet at work (hence the b3ta)..
saw a friend's solo project band on the weekend, which only succeeded about half the time.
Bought the CD anyway, to see if it grows on me.

listen to every other song then.
remember when artists would list alternate track orders for people to listen to for programmable cd players? instead of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9, etc, they'd tell you to try 3-8-12-1-4-11-2-5-7-10-6 to evoke a different mood from the same songs.

Well, there are three songs that are actually listenable on first hearing.
"Eyebath", "Spike/Spear", and "Onion Union".
The rest would be quite involving if you were tripping balls, I think.. they were pretty good in the background while I was doing dishes, too.
Much the same in performance - when he hits a groove it's good, when he's noodling it's annoying.
He's mostly a drummer, doing a one-man-band thing here.

holy crap, they reference simply saucer!
legendary band here, only put out the one album but it's a stunner. i have seen their guitarist edgar breau play a few times. he's great.
