rennet?Water, heated in a boiler on one side of the fire was used for all the family’s needs. Monday was washing day, when the boiler was operating all day, providing hot water for the Dolly Tub. Friday night was bath night when, in a tin bath in front of the fire, the children were bathed in turn. The cleanest looking child went first, and the dirtiest last!
