I am past the getting randomly upset when people mention mums bit now and am on to the 'oh my god why is legal stuff all so complicated and time consuming and when can I have my money' phase now.

It's Ok, it was a couple of weeks ago now, it's why I've not been online much, but I am suitably reconciled now.

It just makes people uncomfortable and I'm actually not terribly upset by the whole thing really ... I mean I'm not exactly happy, but it was for the best in a lot of ways and all that, but I just hate it when people go all 'I don't know what to say' and don't feel they can be happy or crack jokes and stuff ... cos I know it's a dreadful chiché but it does kind of make you realise that we're here for a good time not a long time etc etc
