
Flash makes horribly lumpy .gif files.
For sure you can't rotate and scale single frames in Imageready, but if you open the file in PS, then jump to Imageready, you can actually just tab back and forward between them - it keeps them synched automatically.
It's probably more work, but once you get used to it it's a logical way to work. I have dual monitors, so I have one on each screen.
