The $50m is what Take 2 expect to earn from downloadable content in that fiscal year, not money they received to make it. Take 2 will set the price of the content, not MS.
Either way, my brother's buying a PS3 next week, so I'll go round to his when Killzone 2 comes out :) - although I think he's waiting for the new bundle pack to come out first.

Interviewed by Eurogamer, when asked about the price cut he said it's not a price cut really, just a product upgrade. Lo and behold this morning the 60Gb model gets discontinued in the US
