When I want to counter my playing games and sitting at a computer I go out on my bike, jogging or simply walking. Costs nothing too. - Well, except for the bike :D

I know many people who rushed to buy the ps3, and thought that for the money they had to spend on it, they were going to get their moneys worth, didn't see any of them for weeks.
It's worse with younger gamers by far, no encouragement to them to actually move when the generation 'expects' to sit down and be entertained.
For the money sony spent in developing the ps3, (and indeed the retail price) any 'active' element may have been a good thing on their part to develop, they know people
are gonna get the ps3, and with the range of titles/graphics and active element could have been a responsible step,
and potentially widened their ps3 audience to a family unit machine, which I know several families have found with the wii
