I've been to conventions, I've met the (admittedly less well-known) cast members, I have my own light saber!

Note how she wasn't a 'blond bombshell' as the lead female role, and cast as yet another relatively unknown in the original movie. This was the original casting formula that worked so well Lucus seemed to have forgotten with his dodgy prequels. Leia was pretty, affirmative, and feisty; she didn't need to be a Hollywood beauty recognizable with time. Check the daft haircut he gave her. Statement or what!
