Northern Rock are not the dodgiest of the dodgy sub-prime lenders
but they do do specialist lending that other lenders don't.
I imagine they'd only lend 125% where the money was needed for renovation and the renovated value would cover the entire loan.

aye, quite so
and the fact so many people are now withdrawing cash isn't helping NR at all,
or indeed the markets and industry in general,
and will have a knock on effect to other lenders as well, all very shaky
